In Vysoké Mýto we are continuing the legacy of the legendary Karosa and building on the solid foundations of Czech engineering tradition.

IVECO BUS is a brand of Iveco Group N.V., a world leader in commercial and special vehicles, powertrains and financial services.

IVECO BUS designs, manufactures and sells a wide range of buses covering all missions: city, intercity, school transport, regular service and tourism.

IVECO BUS is a leader in alternative energies, a symbol of innovation in public transport and a reliable partner for public and private transport operators throughout Europe.

The plant in Vysoké Mýto is the largest plant. It is at our plant that we manufacture the successful CROSSWAY series of city and intercity buses, of which we have already produced over 65,000 units, and EVADYS tourist buses.

We help

In 2025, we continued to support communities and sustainable projects in the Pardubice Region.

Help for non-profit organizations

We supported more than 70 organizations with financial contributions and another 50 organizations by providing transport, especially for children and young people. This assistance enabled the implementation of important projects in the areas of social services, education, culture, sport and the environment.

Sustainability initiatives

As part of our sustainability projects, we donated residual materials and discarded technical components to non-profit organizations, discarded technical components to non-profit organizations and technical schools, organized technical competitions for high school students and environmental events for the youngest in kindergartens.

For the fifteenth year, we have continued our cooperation with the Philanthropy Exchange and have financially supported five innovative projects focused on mental health and support for people in difficult life situations.

Socially Responsible Company Award

At the Pardubice Region gala evening, we received a prestigious award for our long-term support of Philanthropy Exchange projects and our active involvement in regional development. This recognition confirms our commitment to supporting the communities in which we operate.

Employer of the Region 2025

As the largest bus manufacturer in Europe, we achieved 2nd place in the prestigious Employer of the Pardubice Regionsurvey in the category of companies with up to 5,000 employees. This award is proof of our commitment to providing high-quality working conditions and supporting employees across the entire region.

Sergio Marchionne Award

This year again, Iveco Group recognized the children of our employees for their outstanding academic achievements and extracurricular activities. Nine students who successfully completed secondary school or university in the previous academic year received this prestigious award, named after a prominent figure in the automotive industry.

Sustainable Bus of the Year 2026 Award

CROSSWAY ELEC received this award, building on the previous successes of the CROSSWAY range. This fifth victory once again confirms IVECO BUS’s leadership in the field of sustainable technologies.

Diversity Charter Award 2025

We placed second in the Women-Friendly Company category, confirming our long-term efforts in equality and inclusion. The jury recognized not only our recruitment activities but also programs supporting women in industry and the overall openness of our corporate environment.

TOP Responsible Company in Philanthropy

We received two awards in this category. The first was in Innovation for Sustainability for the electric intercity models CROSSWAY ELEC and CROSSWAY LE ELEC, which are helping move public transport toward a zero-emission future. The second award was for the project “An Offline World for Children, or When Technology Gives Way to Creativity and Movement,” which supports creativity and physical activity among young people in local schools and communities.
